Milborne Players Pantomime has become an event looked forward too and this year was no different. Weeks before the performances took place "Tickets sold out" notices were displayed for the Saturday performances and the other scheduled performances had near capacity audiences. So be warned for next year!

13 young people and 15 adults sang and danced (or tried to!) their way through the script to the delight of all who attended. This Babes in the Wood was just that little bit different! For a start ALL the Babes  (13 of them!) were kidnapped by the Sheriff who could not decide which ones were the most important;  the two Henchmen (or was it Frenchmen?) come complete with onions and baguettes whilst dancing a can-can; the Dame could not stop laughing; Prince John was puzzled as to who actually threw that brick; and the Sheriff had to find 13 Babes quickly!

This was traditional panto with a great deal of audience participation, including booing the villain, cheering the hero,  joining Robin Hood’s Gang, and, of course, singing louder than the cast! We enjoyed performing for you and by the reaction we received from our audiences you enjoyed being involved with a real live panto performance. Once again the production was direction by Melva Coe who we thank for her tireless efforts. The "Players" hope that this pantomime production may have made the Players some new friends and all the cast and supporting team thank the audiences for their enthusiastic support during the performances and look forward to seeing you in the future.
